Driving
to the office this morning on the freeway, I looked
over to my left and saw a young woman in a brand new
white sports car with her face up to the rearview mirror
putting on her eyeliner! I
looked away for a few seconds, and when I looked back
she was halfway over in my lane, still working on her makeup! It
scared me so bad that I dropped my electric shaver, which
knocked off the donut balancing on my knee. In all the confusion
of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the
steering wheel, I also dropped my cell phone which fell into the
full cup of coffee between my legs, ruined the phone and
disconnected AN IMPORTANT CALL!
I almost went into the ditch all because of her. I can't believe
some of the drivers on the road!!
WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN TO PAY ATTENTION
TO THEIR DRIVING!!!!!!!
Application:
Before you judge others, take a good look at
yourself. There
are some very good rules to follow in Matthew 7: "Do not
judge, or you too will be judged", and "Why do you look at
the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention
to the plank in your own eye?"
Read Matthew 7:1-5 sometime (Of course, I don't need to
read those verses, but I'm sure that you need to).
